It has been a light week for new cases, and a busy week for actual work, but Steve Jakubowski came along just in time to provide some Thanksgiving holiday reading.   See his post – Lindquist & Vennum’s George Singer Publishes a 108 Page Tome (with 586 Footnotes) Reviewing BAPCPA’s Convoluted First Year in the Courts. The article, published in the North Dakota Law Review, is entitled The Year in Review: Case Developments under the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005, 82 N.D. L. Rev. 297 (2006).

Steve, with permission from the author and publisher, has posted excerpts from the article, and you can download the pdf version of the entire article from a link his post.  I have tried to cover most BAPCPA cases and developments from  Georgia and beyond, but it will be interesting to see how many other issues, problems and absurdities that have developed in the past year.
