I would like to be listed as a creditor of Pure Med Spa. They owe me $3,000 in services not yet used in spa packages purchased at their closed location in Indianapolis, IN. Please e-mail me and let me know what I need to do to be on the list.
My name is Melissa Mitchell,
I paid PURE MED SPA $3,050 for chemical peels/microdermabrasion and Velashape. I paid pre-paid and booked all my appointments in your Sacramento office on 6/18/08 and booked and pre-paid more on 10/10/08.
My first appointment would be held on 11/13/08. However, I received a call on 11/11/08, 2 days before my appointment that my appointment was canceled due to the closing of their office for business purposes.
I called numerous numbers of the company requesting a refund since I PAID for packages and hadn't received any treatments. I was told by a Lori Karras on 11/11/08 to send a fax that my packages were paid. I sent my proof of payment by fax on dates 11/14/08 and 11/19/08. Lori called 11/23/08 stating that she would contact someone concerning my refund and that the refund would take 90 days and will be sent to my location of the address you have on file.
On January 5,2009 I received a letter from Customer Service (Their headquarters) located in Alpharetta, GA. That they would not be issuing my refund with no explanation why.
Letter Reads:
Dear Melissa,
Thank you for your patience while we have been reviewing your request for a refund. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate your request at this time.

I received NO EXPLANATION why they were unable to issue my refund. I paid for packages and received NO treatments. All their other 31 locations are not local or close to my home area. I sent an email simular to this letter to the staff: Lori.Karras@puremedspa.com,Bill.Korner@puremedspa.com,Chris.Bakkemo@puremedspa.com andTyra.Lowman@puremedspa.com.
I explained to them that I will be looking for a refund or I will be contacting an attorney. I Still haven't been contacted or given an explaination.
I saw a few blogs online mentioning to contact a bankrupty trustee for help. I contacted a Thomas Wayne Dworschak three times and have NOT gotten a response. So I am contacting you, hoping and praying you can find a way for them to issue my refund or maybe possibly assisting me in a class action lawsuit.
For I do NOT have money to just give away for FREE. I can't afford it. Especially now with the bad economy. Please contact me ASAP. Thank You,
I bought a package from pure med spa Jan 08 and had 3 unused treatments (at least worth $600) as of July 2009. I called in to schedule my appointment, only to find out that they filed for bankruptcy. Not only that, I was told have no services left on my account. I have called them several times to ask for reasoning/explanation, they always have random excuses. I read this blog and thought of contributing in my story of this scam. PURE med spa was a scam, their CEO should be put in jail. This is people's hard earned money that they have just taken away... I would like to be listed as their creditor as well.
